John and Evadine King

John and Evadine King of Chicora celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family gathering at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

King married the former Evadine Curfman on July 22, 1950, at Chicora Alliance Church in Chicora.

They have five children, Paul King of Broken Arrow, Okla., Roy King of Aiken, S.C., Shirley King of Seligman, Ariz., Glenn King of Sykesville, Md., and Terry King of Houston, Texas.

They also have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

King is retired from MSA in Mars.

Mrs. King is a homemaker.

The Kings belong to Chicora Alliance Church.
