Joseph Scott

Joseph Scott of Mars celebrated his 95th birthday with a family dinner at Glade Run Church in Valencia.

Scott was born July 29, 1915, in Pittsburgh.

He married Doris Brooks Scott on July 8, 1986, in Las Vegas. His first wife, Florence, is deceased.

He has one child, Sandra Somple of Portersville, and four stepchildren, Bill Wagner of Butler, Susan Bacon of Butler, Kim Foster of Middlesex and Barb Hepler of Butler. He also has three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.

Scott was a master plumber for 30 years. He also served in the Marine Corps for four years during World War II.
