8:35 a.m. Sunday — Two people were hurt when a car driven by Gregory Loos Jr., 29, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by David Buyaki Jr., 51, of Oakland Township collided at Pittsburgh Road and Roosevelt Boulevard.Loos suffered minor injuries. Tara Storey, 23, of Butler, a passenger in the car, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Police said Loos was cited for a red light violation.Sunday — A North Lima, Ohio, woman reported that someone stole the Ohio license plate EPX4031 from her vehicle parked on East New Castle Street near Main Street.5:06 p.m. Saturday — Police allegedly caught Isaiah Hill, 26, of Butler Township red-handed, carrying an air conditioner believed stolen moments earlier from a city home.Hill, however, claimed he found the air conditioner on North Chestnut Street. The next day, police identified the owner, who reported the property was stolen from her Wagner Avenue home. Police said Hill is charged with receiving stolen property.10:42 p.m. Friday — A Butler woman had to be pepper sprayed and Tasered, a police report said, after she became unruly with officers outside the Flowers Apartment building on West Brady Street.Police said 21-year-old Elizabeth Boofer had gone to the apartment to confront a woman who lives there. Officers found the suspect, who was using profane language, and told her to leave.Boofer left but later returned to 30-year-old Hollie Smith's apartment, prompting a second call to police.This time, police arrested Boofer. However, she resisted, the police report said. The suspect allegedly tried to bite an officer and oleoresin capsicum spray was used. Police said they also had to stun Boofer with a Taser before she was handcuffed.The report, meanwhile, noted that the suspect apparently assaulted Smith, whose eyeglasses were broken in the altercation.Boofer is charged with resisting arrest, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief.

4:50 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Kati Scotch, 21, of Pittsburgh crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.11:59 p.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Howard D. Pisor, 41, of Hilliards struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Garvin Road in Venango Township.Pisor told police the crash happened when he swerved his SUV to avoid a deer. Police said Pisor was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

10:15 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Candice L. Merhaut, 40, of Butler struck a deer on Route 28 near Old Route 28 in North Buffalo Township.

Friday — An unknown burglar stole two televisions, two cameras and coins from a home on Frew Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The break-in happened between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m.
