6:27 p.m. Wednesday — Two people were hurt when a car driven by Eric Galbreath, 43, of Butler and a sport utility vehicle driven by Steve Maskal, 74, of Lyndora collided at West Jefferson and North Washington streets.Maskal and a passenger, 66-year-old Hazel Maskal of Lyndora, suffered minor to moderate injuries. Police said Galbreath was cited for running a red light.

7:55 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Jeffrey S. Slater, 50, of Valencia struck the rear of a truck on Route 28 in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. Police said Slater was cited for following too closely to another vehicle. Janna Altobelli, 36, of Distant, Armstrong County was driving the truck.
