Barbara and Wayne Schnur

Wayne and Barbara Schnur of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage June 24 with a family dinner at the Foxburg Inn.

Schnur married the former Barbara Dight on July 16, 1960, at St. Peter and Paul Church in Cumberland, Md.

They have two children, Debra Rittelmann of Butler and Linda Schnur of Medford, Mass. They also have two grandchildren.

Schnur is retired from Armco after 34 years of service. He enjoys golf, woodworking and shooting trap at the Summit Township Sportsman Club. He is a member of the RC Men's Club.

Mrs. Schnur is a homemaker. She enjoys reading and participating in community dinners at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, where she and her husband are members.
