10:45 a.m. Tuesday — One person was hurt when a dump truck driven by Robert W. Brandon, 65, of Ellwood City and a car driven by Richard R. Wyckoff, 32, of Beaver Falls collided on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Wyckoff, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry with unknown injuries.Brandon was cited for making an improper lane change, and Wyckoff was cited for driving with a suspended license.3 a.m. June 19 — Brian John McLaughlin, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck crashed into a guardrail on Dinnerbell Road near Golden City Road in Jefferson Township.

1:26 a.m. Wednesday — Gregory P. Mazzanti, 28, of Butler is accused of buying prescription medication from a known drug dealer in the city. An officer watched the alleged drug deal, after which Mazzanti rode off on a bicycle.Police stopped Mazzanti on West New Castle Street. He was found with three pills of clonazepam, an antiseizure drug, and one-half tablet of Suboxone, a drug commonly used to treat heroin addiction.Wednesday — A thief overnight broke into an unlocked car on Brown Avenue and stole an iPod.
