Roudebush 50th anniversary
Joseph and Sally Roudebush of Chicora will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house at 2 p.m. Sunday at West Freedom United Methodist Church in Parker.
Roudebush married the former Sally Shook on July 2, 1960, at Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Chicora. Theirs was the first marriage in the newly constructed sanctuary.
They have one child, Kelly Terwilliger of Parker.
They also have two grandchildren.
Roudebush is retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation after 32 years of service. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is a U.S. Army veteran and is an active member of the Dierken Ritzert American Legion Post 642 of Chicora and has served as past commander. He is past vice commander, past secretary of VFW Post 7876. He also is a member of the Argyle Lodge 540 F&AM. He was Treasurer for the newly constructed Honor Roll in Chicora.
Mrs. Roudebush is retired from the Karns City School District and was employed at Castle Rubber and Pullman Standard. She enjoys golfing, reading and is an active member of the Butler County Bookmobile. She is active in her church and volunteers regularly. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities.
