11:07 p.m. Thursday — Michael S. Gayhart, 27, of Butler Township faces drug charges after police found him allegedly intoxicated on North Cedar Street in back of the Butler Public Library.Officers searched Gayhart and found him with a used syringe, a baggie containing 18.8 grams of suspected marijuana and an empty stamp bag of heroin, a police said.He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness.

Tuesday — Police cited Flynn's L&M Tire on West Main Street for its fourth false alarm in the past 12 months.Sunday — Deshaun Emery, 20, of Farrell, Mercer County, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving with a suspended license after failing to return a car that his friend, a Grove City woman, allowed him to borrow Friday.

Tuesday — Someone reportedly broke into a home on Yellow Creek Road in Muddy Creek Township between 6:55 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. No property was reported taken.8:37 p.m. Monday — Two women were hurt when their sport utility vehicle struck an embankment and overturned on Route 268 near Surface Mine Road in Parker Township. Nicole Mikeska, 24, of East Brady, the driver, and passenger Brittany Everetts, 20, of Parker suffered unknown injuries. Mikeska was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.1:58 p.m. Monday — Pickup trucks driven by Glenn A. Snee, 63, of Pittsburgh and Paul Kosar, 79, of Butler collided at North Duffy and Mercer roads. Snee was cited for a stop sign violation.1:31 a.m. Friday — James D, Gregory, 60, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Herman Road in Summit Township.

10 p.m. Monday — Reported runaway Zachary Stennett, 19, of Worthington, missing since the weekend, returned home unharmed.
