3 p.m. Friday — It was reported someone took a Redline 20-inch trick bicycle from the bicycle rack in front of Grove City High School. It is valued at about $100.Friday — Bobby Charles Aiken, 27, of 509 E. Pine St., Grove City, has been charged with retail theft after he pumped gas at Country Fair, 228 W. Main St., Grove City, promised to return with payment and failed to do so.1 a.m. June 13 — Randy Lee David Bartolone, 33, of 303 Lincoln Ave., Grove City, was arrested for DUI at a DUI checkpoint on South Center Street near Stewart Avenue in Grove City. Bartolone also was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
12:01 a.m. Wednesday — Travis A. Ritter, 20, of Kittanning hit a deer while driving on Route 356 in Jefferson Township.8:30 p.m. Tuesday — Dolores Kelly, 50, of Slippery Rock has been charged with disorderly conduct after she caused a disturbance at the state police barracks.Noon Monday — Michael Gifford of Chicora reported he had paid $2,800 for two Jet Skis in an online transaction, but has not received the Jet Skis. Police remind the public to be careful when using the Internet to buy items.12:51 a.m. Saturday — Christopher Douglas Noel, age and address unknown, has been cited for driving under the influence of alcohol with a suspended license. He was stopped on Route 173 at Kelly Road in Slippery Rock.1:54 a.m. Friday — At the intersection of Route 422 and Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township police were on a traffic stop when they saw a compact car speeding and then fleeing from police by passing other vehicles through a construction zone, at times going into the lane for oncoming traffic.Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 724-284-8100.12:56 a.m. June 13 — Brian P. Heider, 40, of Renfrew lost control of his car on Fern Lane, hitting a tree head on. Heider crawled through the car window. It is not reported if he was injured. Charges have been filed.9 a.m. June 8 — Sybert's Garage in Clay Township reported someone stole three batteries from three vehicles in the garage.
4:37 p.m. Monday — Roger Lee Porter, 23, an inmate of the Armstrong County Jail, reportedly suffered a bite wound to his chest believed to be caused by his cellmate, an unidentified 23-year-old man. The incident is under investigation.11:08 a.m. Monday — Terrence McClimans of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance at routes 422 and 28 in North Buffalo Township. Charges have been mailed.
9:36 a.m. Tuesday — Jacqueline S. Jordan, 31, of Grove City lost control of her car on North Liberty Road in Liberty Township, hitting a ditch and rolling over one time. She suffered minor injuries and has been cited for driving too fast for conditions.11:40 a.m. June 14 — A 17-year-old female from Sandy Lake lost control of the car she was driving on Lytle School Road in Sandy Lake Township and hit a tree. She, a 16-year-old female passenger from Grove City and Michael A. Roy, 19, of Jackson Center, also a passenger, were treated and released from Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries. The driver has been cited for driving too fast for conditions.
