Balog 50th anniversary
Michael and Marjorie Balog of Renfrew celebrated 50 years of marriage with a South American cruise. They also enjoyed a family get-together at Nemacolin Resort and dinner at Siba in Cranberry Township.
Balog married the former Marjorie Ansman on June 18, 1960, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have three children, Douglas Balog of Chapel Hill, N.C., Rebecca Puz of Darien, Ill., and Stephen Balog of Cranberry Township.
They also have eight grandchildren.
Balog is retired from Oberg Industries, where he was an engineer. He volunteers at Butler Health System and is a docent and greeter at his church. He enjoys bridge and the 500 card game, golfing, bowling and traveling.Mrs. Balog is a homemaker. She volunteers at Butler Health System and is a docent and greeter at her church.
