Neff 50th anniversary
William and Theresa Neff of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with a dinner and reception May 15 at the North Washington Social Hall. The couple also renewed their vows May 16 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Steven Neff officiating.
Neff married the former Theresa Kusner on May 14, 1960, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.
They have four children, Edward Neff of Butler, Randolph Neff of Chicora, Richard Neff of Petrolia and Lisa Hoffman of Chicora.
They also have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Neff is retired after 36 years as a crane operator at Armco Steel, where he was known as "George Benson." He is a member of the National Rifle Association and loves gardening, working in the yard, hunting and fishing.
Mrs. Neff is a homemaker. She loves tending to her flower gardens, cooking, baking, fishing and quilting.The Neffs both love playing with their great-granddaughter Shealynn.The Neffs are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
