Bell 60th anniversary
Bill and Lu Bell of Mars will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family gathering. Their extended family will spend the weekend together from June 25 to 27 and share golfing, swimming, card playing and a dinner at Hartmann's Waterhole Restaurant in Harmony.
Bell married the former Lewetta Miller on June 4, 1950, at the First Presbyterian Church in Wolcott, N.Y.
They have four children, Billie Lou Durn of Spring City, Patricia Baylor of Wexford, Ken Bell of Fox Chapel and Karen Cesare of Evans City.
They also have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bell is a retired architectural project manager. He is a member of Mars American Legion, Mars VFW and bowling leagues. He is a former member of the Butler Notables and the Mars School Board.
Mrs. Bell is a retired administrative assistant. She is a member of the Womens Club of Mars, Mars AARP and bridge clubs. She also volunteers at UPMC Passavant in Cranberry Township.The Bells are members of Mars United Presbyterian Church.
