7:29 p.m. Sunday — A Butler teenager riding a bike was hurt when he pulled into the path of a car and was hit at West New Castle Street and South Sixth Avenue.Police said 15-year-old Ryan Graham did not stop before pulling into the intersection.Rita Lane, 48, of Butler, unable to stop, hit the bike. The boy was thrown off the bike, across the hood of the car and onto the street.The teen complained of pain to his right ankle but refused medical treatment. No charges were filed.

5:23 p.m. Saturday — John Doctor, 42, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after an accident at Main and Chesapeake streets. Doctor also was cited for careless driving and improperly backing a vehicle.

May 7 — A Honda TRX 250R all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a home on Superior Street.May 1 — Someone broke into a vehicle on McConnell Street and stole $140.Butler County Drug Task ForceWednesday — Sean R. Richards, 27, of Harmony was arrested on felony drug charges stemming from an alleged weekend drug deal in Zelienople.Richards is accused of selling a police informant suboxone during a controlled drug buy, according to court documents. Suboxone is a prescription drug used for treatment of addiction to opiates, including heroin.

4:40 p.m. Monday — John M. Branch IV, 21, of Pittsburgh was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Emily Nagle, during an altercation on Warrendale Road. Nagle suffered minor injuries.Branch was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $1,500 bail.

Wednesday — Burglars entered a first-floor window and rummaged through a house they broke into on Lardintown Road in Clinton Township. The burglars left through the back door.Nothing apparently was taken in the burglary between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., but unspecified items from the home were found by the back door.2:20 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown white male is suspected of trying to break into a home on Valley Road in Concord Township. The would-be burglar is described as in his late teens or early 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a thin build and shaggy brown hair.He was possibly riding a blue BMX bike.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.8:30 a.m. Monday — Sean. R. Randolph, 32, of Slippery Rock was cited for driving at an unsafe speed after his car collided with another car at Route 8 and Mercer Road in Center Township.
