These items have been collected from various police departments.

Monday — Kelly Hinkle, 32, of Butler and Jessica Barber, 23, of New Castle are accused of shoplifting clothing, cosmetics and jewelry from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Both suspects are charged with retail theft.

Monday — Pete Lopez IV, 34, of New Castle is accused of taking a laptop computer, digital camera, jewelry and video game accessories during a burglary at a Lake Arthur Estates home in Muddy Creek Township. Lopez faces burglary and theft charges.

8 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Heinz C. Pangels II, 29, of Portersville crashed into a utility pole on Route 488 in Perry Township. Pangels was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
