The Duggans in 1960

Thomas and Lois Duggan of Meridian celebrated 50 years of marriage by renewing their wedding vows May 9 before their family and friends.

Duggan married the former Lois Woll on May 14, 1960, at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church in Bellmore, N.Y.

They have three children, Tracey Nevel of Meridian, Tom Duggan of Butler and Linda Harris of Bradford Woods.

They also have six grandchildren.

Duggan is retired after more than 40 years as a land surveyor. He enjoyed helping with the fish fry dinners at church.

Mrs. Duggan is a part-time clerk at the Meridian Gift Shop. She is active in the prayer shawl ministry at church.The Duggans are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
