4:58 a.m. Friday — Mario Boschele, 61, of Sarver was cited for writing a bad check worth $422 to Sehman's Tire Service.Butler Township12:07 a.m. Wednesday — Jodi Wheeler, 38, of Butler was charged with driving under the influences and multiple traffic offenses after her vehicle hit a retaining wall on Pittsburgh Pike Road.

Thursday — A Poulon chain saw and case were stolen from Toby Larimore's truck bed while the truck was parked at the Petrolia fire station between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.2:04 a.m. Thursday — Jameson Lee Hornicak, 26, of Seven Fields was charged with driving under the influence after allegedly driving erratically on routes 19 and 228 in Cranberry Township and Seven Fields.9 p.m. Wednesday — Erik Johns, 38, of Portersville was cited for criminal mischief after he allegedly threw a bicycle through the windshield of a parked vehicle owned by Danielle Heathcote, 20, also of Portersville, in Muddy Creek Township.

9:16 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Janet Maher, 42, of Grove City hit a deer on Interstate 62 in East Lackawannock Township.7:11 p.m. Wednesday — A motorcycle driven by Anthony Bruno, 29, of New Castle was traveling on U.S. Route 62 in Sandy Lake Township when a the rear tire blew out, causing it to roll onto its side. His passenger, Erica Pennington, 26, of Bruin was thrown from the motorcycle. Both she and Bruno received moderate injuries.

1:50 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Michele Clouse, 53, of New Castle and an SUV driven by Tanya Stunkard, 29, of New Castle collided on Brownhome Road in Scott Township. The car was backing up in the westbound lane when it collided with the front of the SUV. Clouse and Stunkard received moderate injuries. Amy Fisher, 30, of New Castle, a passenger in the SUV, received minor injuries. Clouse was cited for limitations of backing.

4 p.m. Thursday — A small blue pickup backed into a vehicle owned by Joseph White of Grove City while it was parked at the BP station on West Main Street. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.
