2:15 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by John P. Rowles, 21, of Butler struck a parked van belonging to Omahr E. Isaac of Butler along Heim Avenue. No one was injured.9:51 p.m. Wednesday — Martin P. Patterson Jr., 44, of Butler was charged with robbery, simple assault and criminal mischief after he allegedly took $12 and a house key, then broke a cell phone, all belonging to Corine A. Paugh of Butler as they argued outside the Chestnut Street Inn.

2:25 a.m. Sunday — Edward Emanuel, 46, of Evans City was charged with DUI following a traffic stop along Route 528 near Harmon Road in Prospect.10:12 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Robert Pegues, 77, of Hermitage and a car driven by Doris A. Alger, 66, of Eldred, Pa., collided on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Both drivers and Alger's passenger Charlene Kinney, 59, of Olean, N.Y., were uninjured. Pegues was cited for a traffic violation related to the accident.7:39 p.m. April 21 — An unknown vehicle struck a low-hanging telephone line, tearing it from a residence on the 800 block of Clearfield Road, then fled. No one was injured.1:01 p.m. April 12 — A car driven by Nancy J. Forbeck, 61, of Freeport and a car driven by Monica A. Reinhart, 28, of Mars collided on Route 488 near Route 19 in Portersville. No one was injured, and Forbeck was cited for a stop sign violation.
