11:27 p.m. Tuesday — Isaac G. Anderson, 51, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after police responded to a call about individuals trying to sell drugs outside the A-Plus on East Jefferson Street.
Tuesday — Police recovered a red mountain bicycle in the College View Towers parking lot. To claim the bicycle, call police at 724-458-7925.Tuesday — William Jett, 19, of Grove City was charged with bad checks after he allegedly wrote a bad check to Grove City Borough for a utility bill on March 31.3:24 a.m. April 18 — Kelly E. Chutz, 21, of Grove City was arrested with suspicion of DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia after he was allegedly found asleep in his vehicle at a stop sign on Chestnut Street.10:30 p.m. Monday — Charles Simon, 20, and Brandon Seelbaugh, 19, both of Grove City, each were charged with simple trespass and disorderly conduct following an argument over money in the front lawn of 220½ Jackson Street.
12:09 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup driven by Brian C. Belonzi, 40, of Evans City crashed along Mars-Evans City Road in Callery after a car driven by Nathan D. Leasher, 23, of Evans City allegedly forced it off the road. Leasher was charged with driving on roads laned for traffic and driving without a license. No injuries were reported.6:30 a.m. Wednesday — Someone stole about 200 pounds of scrap aluminum and the tailgate from a 1988 Ford Ranger belonging to Thomas J. Ibinson of Butler and valued at $195 from a property along Evans City Park Road in Forward Township.7:23 p.m. Tuesday — Jesse Gardner, 36, of Chicora was charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole a Craftsman tool set valued at $600 from Sears in Clearview Mall.6 p.m. Tuesday — Someone stole a Yamaha 350 cc motorcycle belonging to Patrick Claypoole, 43, of Hilliards while the bike was parked at a residence along Old Brick Road in Washington Township. The motorcycle is white with a red seat and a Yamaha logo on the gas tank. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.5:10 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Keating M. Miller, 16, of Butler crashed into a utility pole along Great Belt Road in Jefferson Township. Miller was not injured and was cited for driving on roads laned for traffic.2 p.m. Tuesday — Police are searching for two white men driving a red, 1989 Dodge pickup after the pair was seen trying to steal scrap metal from a burned structure at 170 Coaltown Road in Cherry Township. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.7 a.m. Tuesday — Someone siphoned about eight gallons of gasoline from a car belonging to Sandra Ferguson of Butler while it was parked along McConnell Drive in Franklin Township between 8 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.3:30 p.m. Monday — Someone stole an iPod and a wallet belonging to a 9-year-old girl while she was out of the classroom at Center Township Elementary School between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday.9:45 p.m. Sunday — An SUV driven by John L. Hayden Jr., 26, of West Sunbury crashed into a telephone pedestal and a ditch along Thorn Run Road in Summit Township, then allegedly fled the scene. Hayden was cited for careless backing and leaving the scene of an accident.7 a.m. April 22 — Someone stole a total of 1,500 feet of electric cable belonging to Riverview Homes Inc. and valued at $1,700 from the business' parking lot on New Castle Road in Franklin Township between 8 p.m. April 19 and 7 a.m. April 22.
8:55 p.m. Wednesday — A van driven by Taylor C. Sendek, 19, of Harmony struck a deer along Route 173 near Airport Road in Pine Township. Sendek and her passengers, Sean M. McCollum, 19, of Karns City and a 17-year-old Grove City boy were not injured.10:30 p.m. Monday — Someone stole a Tom Tom GPS unit from a vehicle belonging to Sandra G. Dickson of Grove City and valued at $150 while the vehicle was parked at Hoss's Steak and Seafood House in Springfield Township between 3 p.m. April 23 and 10:30 p.m. Monday.5 p.m. April 11 — Kitrell I. Dennison, 20, of Grove City was charged with retail theft. He is accused of stealing three Nintendo Wii games from Movie Gallery in Pine Township.
