12:37 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup driven by Mark Wilson, 23, of Renfrew struck the rear of another pickup on Route 8 South. Police said Wilson was cited for careless driving. Daniel Sundie, 31, of Penn Township was the other driver.2:47 a.m. Sunday — Christine Fallecker, 39, of East Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Pillow Street. Police said Fallecker also was cited for running a red light.

9:05 a.m. Wednesday — Police arrested a suspected longtime military deserter following a traffic stop on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.Troopers pulled over 41-year-old Jonel Lucas' car for an inspection violation when they discovered authorities had been looking for him for deserting the U.S. Army in 1996.Lucas of Pittsburgh is being held as a fugitive in Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail, and is awaiting extradition proceedings.
