Tuesday — Police charged Robert Boyer, 33, of Grove City for allegedly taking a wallet from an Edgewood Avenue home on Dec. 18. Boyer is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.

1:52 a.m. today — Amber L. Storey, 24, of Ellwood City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Penn Township.Wednesday — Police reported they are investigating a reported sexual assault in Summit Township. The alleged victim, a 36-year-old woman, told investigators that someone she knows assaulted her between April 7 and Saturday.5:05 p.m. Tuesday — No one was injured when a car driven by Jade N. Yockey, 23, of Prospect slammed into a house on Route 488 in Franklin Township. Police said the crash happened when Yockey swerved her car to avoid traffic that had slowed near Unionville Road.Her car left the road, traveled through a yard and struck the house, badly damaging its front porch. The car also was severely damaged. Police cited Yockey for driving at an unsafe speed and a seat belt violation.9:31 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Tarah S. Pitzer, 20, of Butler and a pickup driven by Thomas C. Wharry, 38, of Gibsonia collided on Benbrook Road near Route 68 in Butler Township. Police said Pitzer was cited for illegally entering the road from a driveway.4:04 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Emma J. Joyce, 19, of Gibsonia and a sport utility vehicle driven by Ella L. Ekas, 68, of Slippery Rock collided at Kiester and Harmony roads in Slippery Rock Township. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Joyce was cited for a stop sign violation.7 a.m. Monday — Michael Carl Bosch, 36, and Kristi K. Kiefer, 33, of Portersville were arrested following an altercation at Bosch's Smith Road home in West Liberty.Police said while there for the call they found and confiscated five suspected marijuana plants in the home.Both suspects are charged with simple assault and harassment. Additionally, Bosch also is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence. Kiefer also is charged with criminal mischief.11:32 p.m. Friday — Paula Gavala, 48, of Mars was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Hansen Avenue near New Castle Street in Butler.April 7 — Someone between midnight and 7 a.m. broke into McCrea's Boarding Home in Clearfield Township and stole a desktop computer, copy machine and money from an office. Three hand-held radios also were stolen from a 59-year-old Fenelton man's room.3:45 a.m. March 28 — Marcia L. Gordon, 23, of Johnstown, Cambria County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after her car crashed into a grass embankment on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Gordon also was cited for two lane violations, driving without a license, careless driving and reckless driving.
