Ervine Isherwood Jr.
Ervine W. "Ish" Isherwood Jr., 82, of Butler passed away at 11:40 a.m. Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
He was born April 20, 1927, in Allegheny County, the son of the late Ervine William Isherwood Sr. and the late Anne (Snyder) Isherwood.
He attended St. Luke's Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II.
He retired from Glenshaw Glass after 37 years.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine M. Isherwood, who he married on June 25, 1949; two daughters, Kathleen (James) Robinson of Butler and Sandra (Ernest) Kokladas of Ashland City, Tenn.; his son, Raymond (JoAnn) Isherwood of Valencia; six grandchildren, Paul Walter Jr., Cherie Systecki, Bill Neubert, and Brian, David, and Shelley Isherwood; three great-grandchildren, Alex and Adam Walter and Alec Systecki; and his niece, Valerie Fish of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his sister.
<B>Isherwood</B> — Friends of Ervine W. "Ish" Isherwood Jr., who died Thursday, March 11, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Barry Keurulainen of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating.
