Louise K. Black
Louise K. Black, 78, of Butler passed away at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Butler, the daughter of the late Louis J. Kemper and the late Florence (McCann) Kemper.
Mrs. Black was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Bernard "Bernie" Black, who she married Sept. 4, 1954; four daughters, Carol (Ken) Sparks of Allegany, N.Y., Mary Lee (Chuck) Tompkins of Butler, Donna (Scott) Geibel of East Butler and Janet (Brian) Fulmer of Butler; two sons, Rick (Sue) Black of Butler and Bob Black of Butler; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan (Bernard "Bernie") Kriley of Herman; and two brothers, Louis J. Kemper of Butler and Dr. Richie Kemper of South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry George.
