1:57 a.m. Thursday — Christopher John Campbell, 31, of Petrolia was arrested for suspicion of driving the influence after his car struck a vehicle parked on Pillow Street.
Thursday — Shane William Young, 36, of Butler was arrested for allegedly breaking into a home March 29 and stealing two collectible guitars. Investigators identified Young as a suspect when he tried to sell the stolen guitars in Pittsburgh. District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned Young on charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, He was placed in Butler County Prison on $25,000 cash bail following arraignment.2:33 a.m. Thursday — Vance Stevenson, 40, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on New Castle Road.
12:20 a.m. Wednesday — Nathan C. Anthony, 22, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was found apparently passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at Routes 68 and 422 in Summit Township.4:30 a.m. Wednesday — A 31-year-old runner was hurt when an unidentified Jeep-type vehicle struck him on Branchton Road near Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. The vehicle did not stop after hitting Steven Welsh, no address given, who suffered minor injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.5:45 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup driven by Albert Wenk, 83, of Hastings, Cambria County, rear-ended a car on Ekastown Road in Clinton Township. Wenk was cited for careless driving. Barbara A. Kane, 43, of Sarver was driving the car.
6:309 p.m. Tuesday — Brady Hundley, 37, of Mercer was arrested for driving under the influence on Lake Road in Sandy Lake Township. Hundley's blood-alcohol level was 0.334 percent, which is more than four times the state's 0.08 percent legal limit for alcohol.
