Norman Arthur Laney
Norman Arthur Laney, 74, formerly of Evans City and Zelienople, passed away Saturday at the Evergreen Nursing Center.
Mr. Laney was born March 11, 1935, and was the son of the late Arthur Laney and Amanda (Long) Laney.
He worked for Allied Security System.
He is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Gerald) Teats of Karthaus, Clearfield County, and Melvina Rapp of Gibsonia; four sisters, Dorothy Hadden of Evans City, Roseline Lute of Colver, Mary Keith of Cherry Tree and Ellen Kennedy of Evans City; a brother, Ronald (Nancy) Laney of Cresson; three grandchildren, David Teats, Melinda (Mike) Nelson and Elizabeth Rapp; three great-grandchildren, David Teats, Daniel Teats and Franklin Nelson; and a sister-in-law, Betty Laney of Northern Cambria. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Laney was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
