Ronald Charles Todd, 66, of Butler, currently residing in Williamsburg, Va., died unexpectedly March 15 of complications due to diabetes.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia; a brother, Don; children, Michael (wife, Beverly) Todd, Michelle (husband, Jim) Convery and Lisa (husband, Mark) Picchi; stepchildren, Marcia, Gene and Jay Sommariva and Rosemary Harvey; grandchildren, Ashley Tack, Andrew and John Todd, Tyler and Brooke Picchi and Paulina and Reagan Sommariva; his Uncle Steve Voytowich; and nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Charles; his former wife, Marlene (Green); and two grandchildren, Joshua and Justin Harvey.

Ron was a master craftsman who enjoyed restoring antique furniture and cars for many years.

It was his love for history and restoration that drew him to Williamsburg, Va. In 1990, Ron worked along with traditional Englishmen to create a replica of the Susan Constant, the largest of the three wooden ships that sailed to Jamestown, Va., in 1607. They used only the tools that were available in the 1600s to recreate this ship.

While in Butler, Ron worked in real estate, had an antique store and was a former member of the IBEW.

Ron loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed traveling and uncovering "great finds" at antique shows. He was a member of the Bon Aire Car Club in Butler.

He will be sadly and deeply missed.

<B>TODD </B>— A memorial service for Ronald Charles Todd, who died Monday, March 15, 2010, will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 8 at the North Street Christian Church, Butler. Ron will be buried at the Zion Cemetery in Punxsutawney.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Life Net Health Foundation, www.lifenethealth.org. Through Life Net and the Lion's Eye Bank programs, Ron was able to donate tissue for burn victims and provide corneas that gave sight to two people. The family asks that you strongly consider becoming an organ donor so that the lives of others may be enhanced.
