Barbara R. Rummel, 81, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Punxsutawney on Oct. 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Freda Anderson Ecklund.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Vane Rummel, to whom she was married for 64 years.

She also is survived by one son, Donald Arthur Rummel of Butler; one daughter, Sandra Chambers and her husband, Jack, of Corsicana, Texas; one brother, Robert Ecklund of Butler; four grandchildren, Zachariah Chambers of Indiana, Rory Chambers of Indiana, Chance Rummel of Butler and Shira Stein of Georgia; and two great-grandchildren, Corrissa Schmidt of Butler and Ecklund Rummel of Butler.

<B>Rummel</B> — There will be no visitation for Barbara R. Rummel, who died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.
