9:55 p.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Carl Shuler Jr., 42, of Fenelton and a car driven by Leila Dunn, 25, of Chicora collided at South Main and East Wayne streets.3:45 p.m. Wednesday — Omahr E. Isaac, 34, of Butler faces hit-and-run charges after the minivan he was driving struck an SUV on West Cunningham Street. Robert E. Geagan, 54, of Butler, the SUV driver, told police he stopped Isaac when the suspect tried to drive away.Isaac said he was not aware he had hit Geagan's vehicle. Meanwhile, officers later learned that Isaac was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear at a court hearing stemming from a bad checks case in Butler County.He was arraigned in connection with the warrant, and placed in the county prison.

9:30 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Aaron M. Jamery, 21, of Ambridge, Beaver County, struck a guardrail on Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township. Jamery drove a short distance after the crash before abandoning the car.Jamery faces hit-and-run and other unspecified traffic violations.5:15 a.m. Thursday — Shawn Groncki, 42, of Petrolia was arrested for allegedly assaulting 42-year-old Martina Groncki of Butler during a domestic dispute at a convenience store on Argyle Street in Petrolia.Shawn Groncki, who is charged with simple assault, also was arrested on a warrant. He is in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.

7:30 p.m. Thursday — Three unknown shoplifters are accused of making off with $4,000 in clothing from the Ralph Lauren Polo store at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.The thieves, two black males and a black female, walked into the store and placed items into shopping bags they carried with them. They ran out and drove away in a car.Police said they only have a description of one of the male suspects. He is 6 feet tall and wore a red and yellow jacket with black or blue "skinny jeans" worn tucked in his boots.The getaway car is believed to be a gold, four-door, older model Ford or Chevrolet with Ohio license plates.
