5:08 p.m. Monday — Jeffrey West, 29, of Butler is accused of shoplifting items from Friedman's Supermarket at the Greater Butler Mart on Route 8 South. West was arraigned on a charge of retail theft, and later released.

Sunday — Jennifer Schuller, 26, of Hermitage was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving with a suspended license after Daniel Branch of Grove City reported that Schuller had taken his vehicle last week without his permission. The vehicle was later recovered.7:35 a.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Bobbi Sue Hughes, 27, of Mercer and Ralph Earl Hetrick, 57, of Grove City collided at West Main Street and Highland Avenue. A 6-year-old boy riding in Hughes' car suffered minor injuries.Hughes faces charges of careless driving, driving with a suspended license, accidents involving injury while not properly licensed, and a seat belt violation.Jan. 13 — A 26-inch, Insignia flat-screen television valued at $250 was stolen from a McConnell Street apartment between Jan. 3 and Jan. 13.
