8 p.m. Friday — A hit-and-run vehicle caused minor damage to the back bumper of a pickup truck owned by Ray Kroll Jr. of Renfrew while the truck was parked at 400 E. Jefferson St.Butler TownshipFeb. 21 — Kevin Lamka, 27, of Butler was charged with burglary, forgery, theft by unlawful taking, access device fraud, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy, identity theft and criminal attempt after he allegedly stole a family member's credit card and used it to make $1,100 worth of purchases. Lamka's wife Lisa Lamka, 28, of Butler was charged with access device fraud, receiving stolen property, theft by deception, criminal conspiracy, criminal attempt and identity theft in the same incident.
12:35 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Nicole L. Warrick, 22, of Seven Fields crashed into a guard rail on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Warrick was not injured and was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.1 a.m. Thursday — Someone stole two 55-gallon drums full of copper wire that belonged to Gerald Soose of Butler from a property on Swamp Run Road in Center Township between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday.Thursday — Justin Brewer, 23, of Bruin was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after he allegedly stole about 12 electrical cords from Dittman Trucking in Bruin.9:10 p.m. Wednesday — James Fleeger, no age given, of Butler was charged with DUI after the car he was driving crashed along Hall Road near Ford McCall Road in Clay Township. Fleeger was not injured.5:14 p.m. Wednesday — A SUV driven by Michelle L. Kerner, 40, of Butler and a car driven by Nicholas F. Noah, 32, of Boyers collided on Route 8 near Milheim Drive in Center Township. No one was injured, and Kerner was cited for careless driving.Wednesday — Someone stole several items from inside a car belonging to Emmit Maley of Chicora while it was parked in Chicora between Feb. 20 and Wednesday.11:11 a.m. Feb. 20 — A vehicle driven by Lyndsy N. Alexander, 19, of Erie and an SUV driven by Jason S. Hornbeck, 30, of Pittsburgh collided on Interstate 79 near Pfeifer Road in Muddy Creek Township. Both drivers and Alexander's passenger, Jennifer L. Cagnoli, 19, of Erie, were uninjured. Alexander was cited for several violations, including driving at an unsafe speed.12:01 p.m. Feb. 19 — Someone stole a Marlin rifle belonging to David Rice of Portersville from his home on Perry Highway in Muddy Creek Township between 8 a.m. Dec. 24 and 12:01 p.m. Feb. 19. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.2:40 a.m. Jan. 27 — Jessica Humes, 23, of Forestville was charged with DUI following a vehicle collision on Euclid Road near McGregor Road in Clay Township. The driver of the second vehicle, Valerie Patton, 45, of Harrisville, had to be extricated from her vehicle. Both drivers, as well as Patton's passenger, William Conner Jr., 40, of Butler, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
10:30 a.m. Feb. 17 — Mark A. Marcilous Jr., 22, of Ludlow, Mass., was charged with receiving stolen property and several vehicle code violations after a traffic stop along Interstate 80 in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, allegedly revealed stolen license plates on his car.
