Dean G. Campbell, 75, of Chicora passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 17, 1934, in Oakland Township, the son of the late James Burton Campbell and Mildred Marie (Hahn) Campbell.

Dean was a member of the Concord Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and trustee. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.

He retired from Magnetics as a tool maker after 44 years.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy L. "Susie" (Snyder) Campbell, who he married July 2, 1955; two sons, Rev. Carl Campbell and his wife, Jill, of Pine Grove Mills and Alan Campbell and his fiance, Cheryl Harvey, of Chicora; six grandchildren, triplets, John, Caleb and Eli Campbell, and Connor, Shane and Dillon Harvey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dale Campbell.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Concord Presbyterian Church, West Sunbury, with his pastor, the Rev. Robert V. Mathias, officiating.
