The Hancheks in 1960

Robert and Nancy Hanchek of Penn Township celebrated 50 years of marriage in Florida.

Hanchek married the former Nancy Powell on Feb. 27, 1960, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

They have four children, Carol Markle of Cabot, Robert Hanchek Jr. of Penn Township, Michael Hanchek of Penn Township and Paul Hanchek of Penn Township.

They also have 11 grandchildren.

Hanchek retired from Armco after 41 years of service. He was hired as a steel worker at Armco. Her has farmed all his life. He is now enjoying his retirement.Mrs. Hanchek is a homemaker.The Hancheks are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
