Joseph and Genevieve Giffin

Joseph and Genevieve Giffin of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Giffin married the former Genevieve Burgo on Feb. 18, 1950, at St. Joseph Church in New Castle.

They have three children, Thomas Giffin of Mission Viejo, Calif., William Giffin of Portland, Ore., and David Giffin of Bellaire, Texas. They also have two grandchildren.

The Giffins are retired from Giffin Jewelers in downtown Butler, which they operated for 25 years.

The Giffins are members of Sr. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.
