David L. Browne
David L. Browne, 61 of Butler passed away Wednesday at his home.
He was born April 16, 1948, in Butler, the son of the late Homer K. Browne and L. June (Evans) Browne.
David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran at Calvary Church and the Happy Hunters Sportsman Club.
He enjoyed shuffleboard, horseshoes, hunting, fishing and his computer.
He retired from Penn Champ in East Butler.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Manny) Browne, who he married Feb. 6, 1971; two daughters, Brandee and Eric McKain of Butler and Carla and Chris Green of Butler; a son, Matt and Lisa Browne of Butler; five grandchildren, Hunter, Layla, Lily, Shanny, Bailee and one on the way; and a brother, Jeffrey Browne of Grove City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Colleen Spohn; and a brother, H. Kenneth Browne.
<B>Browne</B> — Friends of David L. Browne of Butler who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, where services will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Maren Alexis officiating.Military honors will be by VFW 249 and American Legion Post 778 at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
