Warriors secure 100th victory for coach

Alex Guercio had 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Jenna McCorry had 12 points, seven assists and four steals to lead the Moniteau girls basketball team (10-8, 8-5) to a 43-38 victory over Redbank Valley Friday.

The win was the 100th for Warriors coach Mark Yeager, now in his ninth season.

"I told some of the people after the game it only means I've been around a long time," Yeager said, jokingly.

"I've been lucky to be around a lot of good players and good kids," he added.
