Thoma 50th anniversary
Paul and Bernice Thoma of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the J-Barn Country Inn in Sarver.
Thoma married the former Bernice Gajewski on Jan. 30, 1960, at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.
They have two children, Brian Thoma of Cabot and Bruce Thoma of Butler.
They also have five grandchildren.
Thoma is retired from Thoma Meat Market in Saxonburg, where he was co-owner. He is a member of the Saxon Golf League, the Elks, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sons of Italy and the Moose.
Mrs. Thoma is a homemaker. She is a member of the Butler Hospital Auxiliary and a card club.
Mr. and Mrs. Thoma both enjoy watching sports and activities in which their grandchildren participate.
The Thomas are members of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.
