11:27 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Valerie Heitzer, 20, of East Butler spun out on the ice and struck the side of a bridge on Kittanning Street.Butler Twp PoliceThursday — A green 1999 Yamaha golf cart with a brown roof was stolen in a burglary at a storage garage on South Eberhart Road.

8:14 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Heather Crevar, 25, of Mercer spun out on ice on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township, hitting a guardrail before colliding with a sport utility vehicle. Police said Crevar was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. Stacie Scheidemantle, 42, of Portersville was driving the SUV.Thursday — Police reported four boys are accused of stealing money out of fellow students' wallets in the Karns City High School locker room. The thefts happened between Dec. 1 and Jan. 13.The boys face theft charges. Police identified the suspects only as a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old from Petrolia and two 16-year-olds from Chicora and East Brady, respectively.

3:51 p.m. Thursday — Jamie S. Bodema, 37, of Butler was injured when a pickup truck rear-ended the pickup she was driving on Route 422 in Plumcreek Township. Bodema's truck was stopped on the road because of another accident when it was hit from behind by a pickup driven by Martin L. Moore, 55, of Kittanning.Bodema was taken to ACMH Hospital in Kittanning with a minor injury. Police said Moore was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

Wednesday — A pair of thieves between 1:45 and 2 p.m. stole truck parts at John Truck Service on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township. Police, who did not identify the two suspects, said the investigation continues.12:20 p.m. Tuesday — Lisa R. Ellery, 29, of Harmony was hurt when the sport utility vehicle she was driving hit a ditch, rolled onto its side and slid down an embankment on Hickerhell Road near Route 488 in Perry Township. Police said Ellery, who suffered a minor injury, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
