7:44 a.m. Tuesday — Three people were hurt when cars driven by Katie L. Ross, 28, and Wayne Rideout, 57, both of Butler, collided at West Cunningham and South Washington streets. Ross and two of her passengers, a 12-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police said Ross was cited for running a red light.1:50 a.m. Tuesday — Nicholas J. Arndt, 28, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Austin D. Stockard, 23, during a domestic dispute at their North Main Street apartment. Arndt was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in Butler County Prison on $1,500 bail.
11:23 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Kristen Kowalik, 19, of Butler slid off ice-covered Litman Road and hit an embankment.
5:27 p.m. Monday — Glen G. Fleming, 51, of West Sunbury was arrested for allegedly assaulting a West Sunbury woman during a domestic dispute at a Fleming Lane home in Concord Township. The woman, who police did not identify in a news release, suffered minor injuries.Fleming was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in Butler County Prison on $1,500 bail.Monday — Richard D. Townsend, 33, of Butler is accused of selling crack cocaine to an undercover police informant for $60 in a controlled drug buy Sept. 1 on Chestnut Street in Butler, according to court document. Townsend is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.10:35 p.m. Sunday — David Rzepinski, 49, of Sarver allegedly kicked an 18-year-old Sarver man in the face during an argument at a Riemer Road home in Jefferson Township. The 18-year-old was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.Rzepinski was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment. He is free on $7,500 bail.12:35 p.m. Jan. 6 — A car driven by Valerie L. Thomas, 25, of Butler struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Winfield Road in Winfield Township. Police said Thomas was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
12:10 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Timothy W. Weber, 39, of Grove City crashed into a sign post and ditch before rolling onto its roof after sliding off snow-covered Millbrook Road in Jackson Township. Police said Weber was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
