6:08 a.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Phillip Abraham Jr., 31, of Butler struck a utility pole on snow-covered Old Plank Road near Crosslands Road.

2 a.m. today — Tyler J. Coast, 24, of Harrisville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle crashed into a ditch on Route 208 near Hannah Lane in Irwin Township.

Thursday — David M. Monfre, 43, of Butler is accused of assaulting 56-year-old Marsha P. Milich of Butler during an argument Saturday at his North Elm Street home.Monfre put Milich in a headlock, pushed her to the floor and shoved her into a glass cabinet. Police were notified about the alleged attack after Milich showed up Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.Monfre is charged with simple assault.

Thursday — Eduardo Reyes, 35, was arrested for allegedly assaulting 21-year-old Mallory M. Greenwalt during a domestic dispute at the Mak Square home in West Franklin Township. Reyes was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Armstrong County Prison on $2,500 bail.

1:10 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Leanne Mantini, 29, of New Castle struck an embankment while trying to pass a salt truck on slush-covered Route 422 near Old Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Mantini, who suffered a minor injury, was cited for a lane violation.
