4:14 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Charles J. Pranulis II, 18, of Butler and a car driven by Katelyn J. Thompson, 24, of Johnstown collided at the intersection of Unionville and Isle roads. No one was injured, and Pranulis was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.5:35 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Angela M. Steinle, 17, of Butler and an SUV driven by Carol A. Osche, 65, of Fenelton collided at the intersection of Clearview Road and Old Route 422 in Clearfield Township. Steinle, Osche and Osche's passengers, Peggy Westerman, 45, Katherine Westerman, 17, and Alivia Westerman, 20, all of Fenelton, suffered minor injuries. Steinle's passengers, Nathaniel C. Shook, 17, and Alessandro Scarlatti, 17, as well as Osche's passenger, Joshua McWilliams, 27, all of Butler, were not injured. Steinle was cited for driving at an unsafe speed and for failure to obey stop and yield signs.1:20 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Lauren M. Sequete, 19, of Butler slid off South Benbrook Road near Route 422 in Center Township. Sequete was not injured.
8 p.m. Dec. 12 — Blaine Edward Ritenour, 35, of Volant was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medications following a traffic stop on Brent Road in Springfield Township.
7:15 a.m. Thursday — A SUV driven by Mary Anne Boariu, 51, of Ellwood City crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its side along Route 388 near Currie Lane in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Boariu was not injured.7:22 a.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Alfred Zehetner III, 29, of New Castle struck a vehicle owned by Terry R. Bloomer, 56, of New Castle then skidded off the road into a fence along Route 388 near Currie Lane in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Bloomer had stopped to assist a motorist whose vehicle had overturned. No one was injured.
1:20 a.m. Friday — Shawn Groncki, 41, of Petrolia was charged with burglary after he allegedly forcibly entered a 27-year-old woman's residence along Iron Furnace Road in East Brady Township, then refused to leave.
