Werner 90th birthday
Ruth Evon Werner of Zelienople celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner at the home of her son in Allison Park.
The former Ruth Miller was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Willshire, Ohio. She married Robert Werner on Oct. 12, 1941, in Ann Arbor, Mich. He is deceased.
She has four children, Roger Werner of Ocala, Fla., Gary Werner of Massillon, Ohio, Linda Werner Powlus of Harmony and Philip Werner of Allison Park. She also has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Werner is a registered nurse.
She is a member of the Harmony Quilters, a life member of Historic Harmony and a charter and life member of the Zelienople Historical Society. She is also an active bridge player.
She is a member of First English Lutheran Church in Zelienople.
