3:30 p.m. Tuesday — Someone broke into a home in the 300 block of Hickory Street, stealing a Nintendo Wii game console valued at $200, a laptop computer valued at $350 and a pair of Wii games, Wii Sports and Golden Compass, valued at $80 and belonging to Michael Berteotti of Butler. Anyone with information may call police at 724-287-7743.11:41 a.m. Tuesday — A tractor-trailer driven by Scott M. Reynolds, 38, of Tippecanoe, Ohio, and a car driven by Robert K. Henry, 50, of Butler collided at the intersection of Armco Drive and Hansen Avenue. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.Monday — Rebecca Hunt, 25, of Butler was charged with access device fraud after she allegedly stole a charge card belonging to Marianne Heasley of Butler and used it to make $121.06 worth of purchases.
10:17 p.m. Monday — Two unknown individuals drove a go-kart-type vehicle through Rose Hill Cemetery, causing an unknown amount of damage, as well as on Mercer Road. Anyone with information may call police at 724-287-7769.4:38 p.m. Monday — A pickup driven by Michael Kelly, 30, of Boyers, a minivan driven by William H. Smith, 73, of Butler and an SUV driven by Delores Pratkanis, no address given, collided on North Main Street near Belmont Road. Pratkanis suffered a minor injury and Kelly was cited for careless driving.10:34 p.m. Sunday — Danielle Myers, 29, of Bruin was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to steal $70 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.Grove City PoliceSaturday — A pair of teenage boys, both white and one with curly hair, are wanted for questioning in connection with the theft of jewelry belonging to Ada McDowell of Lee Lane. The boys had been inside her home after they had shoveled snow from her sidewalk. Anyone with information may call police at 724-458-7925.5:23 a.m. Dec. 15 — David C. Keagle, 29, of Slippery Rock was charged with DUI and careless driving after the vehicle he was driving struck a telephone pole along Liberty Street. The street was closed for several hours while utility workers replaced the pole and reattached wires.
Tuesday — Someone stole a log splitter belonging to Francis I. Rockburn of Harrisville from a driveway along Enterprise Road in Pine Township between Saturday and Tuesday. Anyone with information may call police at 724-662-6162.1:40 p.m. Dec. 16 — Philip McCamey, 38, of Slippery Rock was charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest after he allegedly kicked a state police trooper and a Grove City police officer following a preliminary hearing at the office of District Judge Daniel N. McEwen in Pine Township.
6 a.m. Tuesday — Someone entered the Glazier Sand and Gravel property on Route 108 near Interstate 79 in Plain Grove Township and stole six oxygen tanks belonging to J.W. Yeager Contractors between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
