8:11 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by William Graham III, 42, of Valencia and David McKinnis, 65, of Butler collided at East Brady and North Cliff streets. Graham's car, after the collision, hit a utility pole.11:51 a.m. Monday — Cars driven by Terry Graham, 64, of Butler and George McGorrian, 51, of Pittsburgh collided at South Main and East Campbell streets.
10 p.m. Monday — Thomas E. Caldwell, 55, of Cabot was arrested for allegedly assaulting a female, who police did not identify, in an incident at a Keasey Road home in Winfield Township. Caldwell was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bail.6:05 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Timothy J. Fleischmann, 25, of Butler struck a cement barrier on Route 422 at the Interstate 79 on-ramp in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Fleischmann was cited for careless driving.Monday — Unknown thieves stole a truck load of firewood from the front yard of a Marwood Road home in Winfield Township. The wood, valued at $60, was stolen between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.Dec. 8 — Several pieces of jewelry were stolen between Oct. 23 and Dec 8 from a Good Place home in Portersville
2:20 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Daryl M. Davis, 77, of Emlenton crashed into a large rock and lost one of its tires after sliding off ice-covered Route 208 in Elk Township.
9:35 a.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Carol Boak, 62, of New Castle slid off the road and traveled 45 feet before going down an embankment and crashing headlong into a ditch and stream along ice-covered Frew Mill Road near Route 388 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Boak who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
