10:32 p.m. Saturday — Sean Laroy Fletcher Sr., 39, of Butler was arrested after a woman called police to report him trying to get into her West Penn Street home.When officers caught up to Fletcher at Locust and Church streets, they learned he was wanted on a warrant in Allegheny County. They also found him with a "large quantity" of pills for which he did not have prescriptions, a police report said.The suspect was arraigned on charges of fraudulently acquiring a controlled substance and public drunkenness as well as the warrant, and placed in the Butler County Prison.8:55 a.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Edward Edgington, 56, of Butler slid on the ice and hit a parking meter at East Cunningham and McKean streets.8:38 a.m. Sunday — A van driven by Mark Boyce, 53, of Butler Township slid on the ice and hit a utility pole along Jefferson Street.7:08 p.m. Friday — Antoine Pollard, 19, of Butler is accused of shoplifting two bottles of Grey Goose vodka at the state store in Pullman Square. Police said Pollard faces charges of retail theft and underage drinking.

10:43 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Walter M. Hughes, 53, of Cortland, Ohio, struck a guardrail on ice-covered Route 422 in Summit Township.1:20 a.m. Saturday — Jason Cress, 23, of Valencia was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Freeport Street in Saxonburg.8:32 p.m. Friday — Two people were hurt when vehicles driven by Nathan Hines, 25, of Slippery Rock and Ronald Thompson, 53, no address given, collided on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Hines and Sheena Rogerson, 27, no address given, a passenger in his vehicle, were taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries.6:20 p.m. Friday — Michael Skunda, 39, of Portersville is accused of assaulting a 48-year-old Portersville woman at a Beaus Drive home in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Skunda is charged with simple assault.6 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by James A. Shaffer, 51, of Parker and a sport utility vehicle driven by Donald A. Hogg, 43, of Chicora collided at routes 68 and 38 in Summit Township. Hogg was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a minor injury. Police said Shaffer was cited for a left-turn violation.Friday — A global positioning system unit was taken from a car on Herman Road near Protzman Road in Summit Township. The theft happened Thursday or Friday.1:30 p.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Amanda L. Maley, 25, of Butler struck a concrete barrier and guardrail on Route 422 at Mitchell Hill in Summit Township.Thursday — An unknown burglar stole several mounted animals and a Motorola Minitor IV pager from an Edgewood Drive home in Winfield Township. The break-in happened between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.Wednesday — Someone stole a license plate off a 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager in the 600 block of Kiester Road in Slippery Rock Township. The theft happened between Dec. 7 and Wednesday.Dec. 6 — Brent Miller, 27, of Parker is accused of racking up $863 in unauthorized purchases using an Allegheny Township woman's credit card. Miller faces charges of theft, forgery and access device fraud.Dec. 4 — A youth, who police did not identify, is accused of taking a cell phone from a car on Panther Road in Connoquenessing Township. The suspect is charged with theft from a vehicle, loitering and prowling at night and disorderly conduct.1:15 a.m. Dec. 2 — A pickup driven by Lisa Lamka, 28, of Butler struck a tree along Meridian Renfrew Road in Penn Township. Police said Lamka, who suffered a moderate injury, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

7:30 a.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Jedidiah J. Troyan, 29, of Kittanning hit a guardrail on ice-covered Route 28 in South Buffalo Township.7:22 a.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by David M. Seese, 29, of Reynoldsville, Jefferson County crashed and rolled onto its roof on ice-covered Route 28 about 2 miles south of Route 422 in North Buffalo Township.

11:20 a.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Michael T. Jewell, no age given, of Sandy Lake slid into a tree along ice-covered Sandy Lake Polk Road in Sandy Lake Township.10:45 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Beth A. Nunamaker, 24, of Beaver hit a tree along ice-covered Route 258 in Liberty Township.10:10 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Jacob E. Ohl, 19, of Transfer struck a tree along slush-covered Route 58 in Pine Township.9:51 a.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Zachary Lewallen, no age given, of Kingwood, Texas, crashed into a home's mailbox pillar along ice-covered Route 173 about one-half mile south of Route 965 in Worth Township.8 p.m. Saturday — Blaine E. Ritenour, 35, of Volant was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Brent Road in Springfield Township.11:02 p.m. Friday — Bethany Sue Chase, no age given, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 208 at the Interstate 79 exit ramp in Springfield Township.

9 a.m. Nov. 30 — A car driven by Naomi L. Heil, 17, of Portersville ran into the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Route 488 in Perry Township. Police said Heil, who suffered a minor injury, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
