STUDENT DIRECTOR
Devon Herbert was awarded the State Alliance Grant in combination with the U.S. Senator Richard G. Lugar Academic Recognition Award after being accepted to the University of Indianapolis.She will attend the university next fall and pursue a doctorate in physical therapy.This summer, she was chosen to attend the University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy, one of the Pennsylvania Governor's Schools of Excellence.A senior at Knoch High School, she is the daughter of Jamie and Marie Brandon of Penn Township.———
Taylor Glock was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma international honor society at Clarion University. Glock is the daughter of Carl and Carol Glock of Saxonburg.———
Laura Ellis of Harmony performed Dec. 6 in Earlham College's Gospel Revelations Christmas concert in Goddard Auditorium.Ellis is a member of the Gospel Revelations Choir. The Choir began during the 1960s as an opportunity for students to learn about and participate in the rich musical traditions of the African American church.Ellis is a senior at Earlham College in Richmond, Ind.
