Viletta Gardner

Viletta Gardner of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with a surprise party and family dinner at the Lyndora Fire Hall.

The former Viletta Thompson was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Butler County. She married John Gardner on May 29, 1942. He is deceased.

She has three children, Bob Gardner of Prospect, Sue Neil of Butler and Donna Gardner of Butler.

She also has four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gardner is retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Butler. She also spent many years volunteering at VAMC.

She attends Community Alliance Church.
