Dorothy L. Morgan
It is with bittersweet joy and sorrow we share with you the death of our loving mother, Dorothy Louise (Ertzberger) Morgan, 86, of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, formerly of Middlesex Township, Valencia, on Tuesday under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.
Dottie was born in Lyndora, Dec. 1, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Stramsak) Ertzberger.
She also was preceded in death by her brother, the late John M. Ertzberger; and her sister, the late Margaret Farrel.
Dottie was the loving mother of Robert (Lou Ann) Morgan of Climax, Mich., Marilyn Hardt of Pierce, Ariz., Susan Morgan of Slippery Rock, John Morgan of Middlesex Township and Dorothy K. Morgan of Petaluma, Calif.; mother-in-law of Ken Hardt of Prospect; dear friend and caring mother to Virginia Zaccari of Slippery Rock; sister of Leona Sunday of North Hills and Betty Milkowski of Lawrenceville; beloved grandmother of Sarah and Marissa Morgan of Climax, Mich., Ben Hardt of Pittsburgh, Brian Hardt of Zelienople and Diedra Morgan; and caring and loving stepgrandmother to Troy, Molly and Ryan Stauffer, Seren Citin and Kerem Dogan. Also surviving are great-grandchildren and 23 nieces and nephews.
Dottie was an active member of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church in Middlesex Township, volunteered with the Lighthouse Foundation and was an angel on call with Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.
<B>MORGAN</B> — The family of Dorothy Louise (Ertzberger) Morgan, who died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, welcome friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home Ltd.</B>, Bakerstown. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Greg Wiest as officiant. Please meet at the church.
