Tuesday — The Pennsylvania license plate EVM4648 was reported taken from a van parked on Pepper Street. The theft happened between Friday and Tuesday.7:20 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Kelly J. Minto, 47, of Butler Township backed up and hit Patricia Kahlbaugh, 45, of Butler as she walked in the A-plus parking lot on West Jefferson Street. Kahlbaugh was not hurt. Police said Minto was cited for driving with a suspended license.Monday — Melissa A. Dano, 29, of Butler Township was charged with felony access device fraud for allegedly using a Greenville Drive man's bank debit card to make an unauthorized $750 purchase. Dano admitted she used the card, according to court documents, but told police she had the card owner's permission.
Monday — Brian Reash, 29, of Grove City was arrested for allegedly breaking into a neighbor's home on North Broad Street. Reash was arraigned on charges of burglary, trespass and conspiracy to commit theft, and placed in Mercer County Jail on $15,000 bail.
6:57 p.m. Sunday — An Allegheny County family is accused of shoplifting $150 of merchandise at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Charged with retail theft are Donald Cowfer Sr., 57, and Galdina Cowfer, 59, and the couple's children, Donna Cowfer, 24, and a 12-year-old daughter, all of Russellton. Donald Cowfer also is charged with corruption of minors.Nov. 18 — A Clarion County couple allegedly shoplifted merchandise at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property are Joseph Priester, 29, of Rimersburg and Tammy Wolfe, 32, of Strattanville.
1:02 a.m. Sunday — Shannon Marie Davis, 27, of Volant was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Pennsy Road in Springfield Township.
