The Riverses in 1959

Louis and Virginia Rivers of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Rivers married the former Virginia Kaczor on Nov. 28, 1959, at St. Ladislaus Church in Natrona Heights.

They have two children, Marla Yasinsky of Butler and Susan Rivers of Wexford. Another child, Doug Rivers, is deceased.

They also have two grandchildren.

Mr. Rivers is retired from Armco.Mrs. Rivers is currently employed as a secretary at PARC.The Riverses attend St. Paul Church in Butler.
