9:51 a.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Eric Duncan, 32, of Butler and a tractor-trailer driven by Donald Randell, 56, of Ontario, Canada, collided at South Main and West Wayne streets.Nov. 17 — Joshua Ray Herald, 22, of East Butler is accused of stealing $50 from a Brown Avenue home. He is charged with theft.
8:36 p.m. Sunday — Two unknown assailants, both wearing ski masks, reportedly attacked a man outside the Super 8 hotel on Route 8 South.The victim, who suffered minor injuries, told police the suspects charged at him from behind the hotel. One of the attackers tackled and assaulted the victim before both suspects ran away.One of the suspects is described as a male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build. He wore a black ski mask and gray, hooded, zip-up sweat shirt and blue jeans. The other suspect also wore a black ski mask and hooded sweat shirt.2:15 a.m. Sunday — Police used a Taser on an allegedly misbehaving woman picked up earlier for public intoxication on Litman Road near the Butler Area Sewage Authority.The suspect, Nicole Nagowski, 21, of Butler refused to get into a holding cell once at the police station. An officer used the Taser's drive-stun mode to get Nagowski to comply. A drive-stun is when the Taser is placed against a person's body.Nagowski is charged with resisting arrest and public drunkenness.12:07 a.m. Sunday — Charles Brommer Jr., 22, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute at an Old Plank Road home. Brommer is charged with simple assault and harassment.Saturday — Police suspect several youths overnight used bingo daubers to write on homes and vehicles in the area of Dutchtown and Garden Grove roads, Vogel roads, Windsor Drive and Hampton Court. Anyone with information about the vandalism spree is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.Friday — Kristy Cousins, 30, of Butler was cited for trespassing after Wal-Mart security saw her in the Butler Commons store. Cousins was previously barred from the store, police said.
11:38 p.m. Saturday — Someone hurled an egg at a car traveling on West Main Street. The driver, Catrina Sanson, no age given, of Grove City, told police the egg came from a passing vehicle.Friday — A vehicle driven by Cole Borgia, 24, of Pittsburgh struck and sheared off a utility on Liberty Street near Miller Avenue.8:18 p.m. Thursday — Ryan Bowers, 18, of Grove City faces misdemeanor drug charges after officers spotted him with suspected marijuana on Grant Street. Bowers ran from officers but was later identified. He faces charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
11:30 a.m. Monday — Two students are accused of making a prescription drug deal in the Slippery Rock High School cafeteria. The suspects, both boys ages 15 and 17, face unspecified drug charges in juvenile court.9:30 a.m. Monday — Thomas A. Marx, 44, was arrested for allegedly slapping and pushing Lidia Marx during a domestic dispute at his Camp Run Road home in Lancaster Township. Lidia Marx suffered minor injuries. The suspect was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $1,500 bail.5 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Jamie L. Antoszyk, 18, of Saxonburg struck a guardrail on Fisher Road near Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township. Antoszyk, who apparently fell asleep at the wheel, was cited for a lane violation.Thursday — An unknown customer passed a counterfeit $10 bill at the Country Corner Store on Route 8 in Brady Township.
8:16 p.m. Sunday — Joshua David Cremeans, 21, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 422 near the Graff Bridge in North Buffalo Township. A search of Cremeans' car turned up suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.5:04 p.m. Sunday — Christopher Lee Duncan, 20, of Templeton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 422 near the Graff Bridge in North Buffalo Township. Police searched Duncan's vehicle and found suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
