2:01 p.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Jennifer L. Perry, 29, of Butler crashed into a parked car, owned by Lori L. Walker of Butler, along Second Avenue near Peach Street. No injuries were reported.

3:32 a.m. Friday — Police are searching for the driver of a Dodge Durango with Colorado registration found overturned along Route 19 near Lindsay Road. The SUV struck a guardrail before overturning and colliding with a box truck in the northbound lane. The driver of the truck was not seriously injured, and the driver of the SUV fled.Anyone with information on the SUV driver's identity should call police at 724-452-5600.

9:18 a.m. Thursday — A gold, cubic zirconia ring was found on the 600 block of West Poplar Street. Anyone wanting to claim it should call police at 724-258-7925.

2:09 a.m. Nov. 8 — Michael G. Brotosky, 19, of Rochester, N.Y., was charged with DUI, careless driving, driving on roads laned for traffic, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a crash on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township.Oct. 27 — Someone stole a debit card number belonging to Roslyn A. Black of Volant and used it to make a purchase on the Internet.

10:50 a.m. Friday — Douglas A. Smith, 19, of Pittsburgh was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop along Route 28 in North Buffalo Township6:30 a.m. Friday — A 53-year-old Sarver man apparently committed suicide by jumping from the Buffalo Township Bridge on Route 28 in Buffalo Township between 6:30 and 7 a.m. Friday. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Butler County Deputy Coroner Dennis Trzeciak.
